What motivates you?

Solving problems and developing products that have a positive impact on people's lives. To experience that is a lot of fun and very rewarding for me.

What is your Background?

I discovered my enthusiasm for the analysis and development of products and startups while studying media studies. I initially worked for the renowned media agency “Scholz & Friends” and helped clients from various industries develop and implement digital media campaigns. Later I worked at Axel Springer for Europe's largest news app "upday". In 2016 I co-founded the startup "Inspora" with the aim of personalizing the shopping experience of fashion customers. At the same time, I received the prestigious EXIST scholarship from the Federal Ministry of Economics, which supports founders with extraordinary ideas.

What do you do in your startup "Inspora"?

As managing director, I have built up the corporate structure and continue to develop it. I plan, manage and control all important processes and make sure that we achieve our goals. I have built a ten-person team of developers, designers, sales and marketing and lead the team on a daily basis. I'm also responsible for the development and implementation of our marketing and sales strategy, with which we have already reached millions of customers, have concluded numerous collaborations with major fashion brands and have attracted attention from the biggest media outlets such as Handelsblatt, WELT or Tagesspiegel.

What topics are you responsible for at VentureWizards?

Business plan, company structure, product strategy, team, marketing, sales, storytelling, project management, founder personality and network

What do you do in your free time?

As a former competitive hockey athlete, I still try to be on the pitch as often as possible. I also like long-distance running because it helps to clear my head. I like reading biographies and studying philosophy - most recently the teachings of stoicism. I'm passionate about writing and I'm the author of two books on growth hacking and relationship commerce.

Can you share a fun fact about yourself?

I drank beer, ate potato salad and discussed politics with the chancellor candidate Per Steinbrück in a friend's flat in Berlin. More here...

What motivates you?

Just like architecture, programming is an art that people come into contact with on a daily basis and that influences their everyday life. With programming I can create something that people can interact with and use, touch and work with. It's an incredibly enriching feeling. If I can develop something that will solve a problem for someone or save time by making tedious tasks easier, I know that I have changed someone's life. Programming enables me to translate my thoughts into something real.

What is your Background?

I've been interested in computers and software development since I was 10. A family member who also works as a programmer got me excited about the topic for the first time. As a kid, I kept begging my parents to buy me new programming language books. I gained my first practical experience by developing small games and tools. My enthusiasm for software development has accompanied me through my entire school days and made my choice of study very easy. I studied IT systems engineering at the renowned Hasso-Plattner Institute, where I was able to learn from leading researchers and experts from around the world. Over the years I have carried out numerous projects, for example for GETEMED AG, which I supported in developing a digital health assistant. In 2016 I co-founded the fashion tech startup “Inspora”.

What do you do in your startup "Inspora"?

As CTO, I’m responsible for the entire technological development of the product. I manage a team of software developers and UI/UX designers. I use the latest technologies to ensure that millions of customer interactions run safe and reliable every month. In addition to some strategic tasks, I focus my programming activities on the topics of natural language processing, machine learning, recommendation systems and the further development of our analytical framework.

What topics are you responsible for at VentureWizards?

Technological feasibility and implementation, programming, prototype development, analytics, programmer network

What do you do in your free time?

Software development is also my hobby. I like to deal with the latest innovations and technologies and try out a lot in small fun projects. I also like to read about astronomy, love to hike, as I did recently in Iceland, like to go to rock concerts and visit my family as often as possible.

Can you share a fun fact about yourself?

I hacked a gumball machine when I was 12.
