Digital Smile Design (DSD) is a software-assisted simulation of teeth and facial aesthetics, allowing treatment outcomes to be visualized before the procedure even begins.
DSD is primarily used in aesthetic dentistry and for major restorations in the front teeth area. This innovative approach enables patients to preview crowns, bridges, and veneers in advance and actively participate in the planning of their tooth shape, alignment, and color.
